We focus on elite youth hockey players across various levels, primarily in AAA and junior hockey. Our evaluations include players from across North America who have shown exceptional skill, potential, and performance in high-level competition.
How does FiveStars evaluate players?
Our team of experienced scouts analyzes players based on a combination of game performance, skill set, hockey IQ, skating ability, physicality, and overall impact on the ice. We also consider statistics, tournament performances, and progression over time.
Rankings & Reports
How often are rankings updated?
We update our rankings periodically throughout the season, ensuring they reflect the most up-to-date evaluations based on recent performances.
How are rankings determined?
Our rankings are based on a combination of live scouting, game film review, tournament performance, and feedback from coaches and scouts. Every player we evaluate receives a ranking and live score, which is then reviewed and adjusted periodically by our team based on all of these factors. This ensures our rankings reflect the most accurate and up-to-date assessments of a player's performance and potential.
Can a player request to be scouted?
While our scouts actively track and evaluate players, we welcome recommendations. Players, parents, or coaches can submit a request for scouting consideration. However, evaluations are based solely on merit and performance.
